Enjoy a Fall Foliage Show

Although specific dates might vary each year, as Fall comes around, leaf-peeping trips are becoming a popular family tradition. The Northern part of the United States may be known for its bright colors, but leaves can be found in many other parts of the country as well. Fall leaves can be found in Pennsylvania Amish country, down in the Southeast, in the Mid-Atlantic and even in places in the Midwest.

Many of the most beautiful Fall leaves can only be seen along country roads, off the main highways. GPS can be helpful when navigating these small communities, but local maps can work as well. Be sure to leave plenty of time for travel and book your lodging ahead of time. Many people are flocking to see these beautiful trees. Highways will tend to be more crowded on the weekend, which can make a mid-week trip look more inviting.

As with any trip, be sure to bring your vehicle to The Car Store for a pre-trip service appointment. Travel is always more fun when you know your transportation is reliably sound.
